Mosaic

Resilience could be defined as the ability to not be broken by circumstances. But it could also be understood as the ability to make something beautiful from the pieces after we break.

What have you made out of the pieces of your life?

  1. I have remembered the time when I thought I saw some one whom I thought needed help and did something about it. It was interesting to me that once in a hotel lobby in Washington D.C. I approached an elderly man in a wheelchair and offered to help him; his response was one of anger because he wanted to “do it himself”. I learned from that. A little thing, also, but I take the moment when I’m at the grocery store and see someone back out at their car unloading groceries from a now empty cart and then my offering to take the basket back in for my own use because many of us in this community take extra time to return cats. This saves them time and I almost always
receive a Thank You from them.
