Receiving psychological counseling continues to be a controversial topic, I believe. There are those who consider it a sign of weakness. I, however, see it as a service that can ease mental distress when it is needed. There have been times in my life when I needed a source to help me solve a problem in my life and have used mental counseling for a period of time. This was a very difficult decision for me at the outset but, looking back, I know that being brave enough to use it has made my life more comfortable and stable.
