The Long and Winding Road

TheLongAndWindingRoad“May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view,” writes Edward Abbey. And it is true that the most astounding views often come from the steepest, most twisted and torturous paths, so Abbey offers this wish as a blessing, even if it might not seem like it as you wend your way up the hard trail.

What beautiful view have you come upon from walking a difficult path?

  1. It has been and still is a torturous path, but also a time of growth and healing. I am finding strength and inner resources that I didn’t know I had. The CLF has been the beautiful view, a font of so many words, songs and caring that helps me to clarify my emotions and center my heart and mind in the midst of chaos.
