What strikes you as particularly mysterious about our planet?

Although there are multiple and scientifically supported reasons that we understandas the orderly progression of natural phenomena, such as the revolution of the planet which produces day and night as well as the eternal shifting of the oceans with the tides back and fro, I am still in wonder of these activities because of their influence of them on our human and animal and plant life. Oh, and I forgot the migration of birds seasonally; what a mysterious thing that happens!
