  1. This incident of forgiveness is one that was never expressed. I believe, however, that it must have taken place. Since I am unmarried, the topic of my never having children was not a topic of conversation between my parents and myself. I have often heard parents say “Oh , my child has NEVER GIVEN ME GRANDCHILDREN!” This can certainly be a burden, in my opinion, on those who cannot or wish to not have children …especially to please their own parents. Gratefully, I was never approached by my parents on this subject. Whether they wished to be grandparents was never a spoken case of forgiveness. They encouraged me to live my life as I wished regarding progeny.
