What You Have Received

“I know what I have given you…
I do not know what you have received.”

Humm, I can not remember a time when I did not find a use for a gift received. This is to say that I enjoyed it in a different way than its original use was probably intended: an example might be a dish that seemed to be one designed to contain something to be served. I like any dishes, even just to look at the shape, color or design, for instance, so I find how I receive a gift is to adapt it for my pleasure.
