Some people burn with such a passionate intensity that they are able to kindle enthusiasm in those around them. Of course, it’s also true that some people are so burnt out that their presence is exhausting.
Whose presence is having an impact on you these days?
My friend Pat T is into her second decade of retirement and her enthusiasm is bondless. Her latent interest in vocal music had flared and she spends an inordinate amount of time rehearsing and singing with several choral groups. I say it’s a good thing; she had discovered something important to her that is satisfying her and it permeates into her relations with her friends! We recognize it as a good thing.
