The Price of Anything

The price of anything is the amount of life you exchange for it. ―Henry David Thoreau

What are you glad to invest your life in?

  1. I love this quote and I have it in my file of quotes.
As, I grow older, time is far more precious to me than money. So, if the price of something is equal to the amount of life you exchange for it, then I need to do what I love and love what I do.
I am happy to invest my life in my daughter’s catering business, because cooking brings her such joy.
I am also glad to invest my life in my lay-lead church by sharing my gifts and encouraging others to share theirs.
I am glad to invest my life in making my home a safe and comfortable place because it is where I feel most secure and happy.
