Bad Hair Day

BlowDryGooseFace it, in spite of your best efforts some days are going to be bad hair days, when things just go awry. Some days not only are you not going to be the graceful swan, you won’t even make it to a respectable version of a goose. Some days are like that.

What helps you feel better on the bad hair days, when things go wrong?

  1. On a bad day, if I have the opportunity to see a child being so happy and laughing and doing “childlike things” I can’t help feeling better. The joy of childhood is catching! Although I have never born a child, I have a strong affinity for young children and want them to become happy, capable adults. I was a teacher of art as well as a youth public librarian and had many opportunities to enjoy their company and whims and curiosities. Much fun it is to remember those times as well as opportunities that come along these days!
