The most valuable treasure I hold are the friendships of certain special friends. It is difficult to explain, even to myself, why these extra special people have touched my life so strongly. Often, even by accident, we have met: then, as our friendships grew, each became an integral part of my life and continue to do so, even though many are gone from this place. Friendship has been defined by poets as golden and it truly can be just that.
