This certainly is a “sticky” question!!?? I don’t think of myself as being prickly but I suppose I am. If I find myself not agreeing with the direction of a conversation, such as a lot of criticism without much fact to back it up, or lots of talk about the mundane matters of life that interrupt the expected flow, I clam up and sit and listen but inside I feel prickly, unhappy and hope that conversation ends quickly.
I imagine this may be obvious to the others but they never seem to notice.
