Into the Sea

Into the SeaThere is a fine edge between fear and a thrill. Sometimes the difference between terror and excitement depends on having someone you trust who will hold your hand as you walk forward into the unknown.

Who gives you courage to explore?

  1. I live where there is not a UU church but have belonged in the past. Look forward to being inspired by this church without walls.
    Thanks, Donna

    1. Donna, I know how it feels to be at a location where there is no UU group, fellowship or church. Right now I do live where there is a small fellowship in which I am one of the charter members. It is a blessing. However, I am finding that sending little messages to this site is a welcome way to get thoughts out almost every day. Hope you will try it.

  2. Going into the unknown can be daunting, I know. Somehow, I look at past events and adventures in my life when I was doubtful about taking the step forward but I wasn’t dependent on any one else’s hand. Yes, encouragement to “do it” but I actually think that when I decided to jump in, I did it on my own. Isn’t this a good way to do it?

  3. Unfortunately no one on this earth and I haven’t been in touch with the Higher Power for some time. So every step on the path to discovery, fueled only by my own aged momentum, drives me to exhaustion.

    1. Nicki, for me using this site to think and “talk” about ideas that I wouldn’t be able to think of by myself has become a pleasing part of my life. I don’t count on a higher power to do this but it gets me in touch with myself and with others.
