Prejudice. Memories of being hurt by evangelical zealots. Preferring more traditional music over the drums and “praise and worship” genre. Doesn’t sound like much, but it is a lot to deal with.
This week, for a beloved friend, it is bureaucratic red tape – in fact 3 major bureaucracies who need to finally work together and and do the right thing. They can be humane and competent if they choose to do so – push it through and say yes! It’s a lot to ask. But I am asking for it. Praying to all the gods and goddesses out there.
